An evolving installation by Ger van der Zee that imagines a sustainable world in the year 2260. Through eighteen interconnected panels, music, light, film and performance, Pro-spektif invites visitors to imagine a future shaped by creativity instead of fear.
A work that asks not what the future will be, but what future we choose to create.
Pro-spektif consists of eighteen panels arranged in three concentric circles. Each circle explores different perspectives of a possible future while leaving space for new ideas and unexpected contributions.
The inner circle contains five panels, the central circle another five, and the outer circle eight large panels. Several panels include windows that invite visitors to look through the installation instead of simply looking at it.
Some panels are intentionally left open, allowing the work to evolve over time through collaboration and new inspiration.
Pro-spektif is more than a visual installation. Music, light projections, interviews, performances, films, presentations and texts can all become part of the work.
Members of Kollektif and invited artists are encouraged to contribute, but the project is also open to organisations, researchers and anyone who wants to participate in imagining a better future.
The aim is to generate discussion and stimulate positive ideas for the future.
